Two people are facing charges following an investigation by the Fiji Police Anti-Scam Task Force into an alleged online investment scam. Police allege the pair received money on 20 November 2025 that was linked to an investment scheme promoted through a Facebook account called “Digital Lifestyle”. Sixty women vendors at the Suva Municipal Market have received food safety training aimed at improving hygiene, food preparation and handling practices. The two-day programme was conducted by Health Inspectors from the Suva City Council, with both women and men vendors taking part in practical sessions on safe food preparation, hygiene and proper food handling.
