The renowned musical duo Jaani and B Praak have officially launched Kripa Records, a devotional music label dedicated to creating spiritually uplifting music. Inspired by the Sanskrit word “Kripa,” meaning “grace,” the label aims to produce songs that invoke peace, devotion, and reflection with modern production values, visuals at a scale never seen before in this category, offering listeners a space to connect with the divine and find solace in their faith.

Distributed by Universal Music India, Kripa Records aims to bring together celebrated artists and composers to craft melodies that inspire spiritual awakening. The label seeks to blend traditional and contemporary elements, providing a refreshing take on devotional music that resonates with people of all generations.

The label marks its debut with the release of “Aayiye Ram Ji”, a soulful and heartfelt prayer to Lord Ram, sung by the legendary Shreya Ghoshal. This meditative piece, with music composed by B Praak and lyrics by Jaani, captures the essence of hope, devotion, and the longing for divine intervention. The track calls upon Lord Ram to bring peace and justice to a world grappling with hardships, embodying his virtues of compassion, courage, and righteousness. Shreya Ghoshal’s ethereal voice perfectly complements the song’s emotional depth, while B Praak’s tender composition enhances its reflective and spiritual quality.

Accompanying the song is a visually captivating music video featuring Bollywood actress Shriya Saran. Shriya’s performance brings the story to life, portraying a character deeply moved by the injustices around her. Through her heartfelt plea and emotional journey, the video highlights the transformative power of divine grace and justice.

Speaking about Aayiye Ram Ji, Shreya Ghoshal shared, “It’s always a blessing to lend my voice to a devotional song, and Shriya has brought it to life beautifully with her heartfelt performance in ‘Aayiye Ram Ji.’ Singing this track was a deeply emotional and sacred experience for me. B Praak and Jaani are exceptionally talented artists, and it’s always a pleasure to collaborate with them. I wish them the very best for this wonderful new initiative with Kripa Records.”

Shriya Saran added, “Shooting for this song in such a serene and divine setting was truly a special experience. As I immersed myself in the story, I felt a deep connection with Lord Ram, making the entire journey incredibly spiritual. Enacting to Shreya’s mesmerizing voice made it even more magical. B Praak and Jaani are brilliant artists, and I believe that through Kripa Records, they will elevate devotional music to new heights.”

“People are really connecting more with spirituality these days, and it feels like the right moment to introduce a devotional music label that connects to all age groups. With Kripa Records we aim to bring devotional music with a modern touch and larger than life visuals something thats never been explored in this category. We’re excited and hopeful for this journey ahead and believe this label has the potential to reach new heights, bringing spiritual music to every heart”, shared Jaani and B Praak

Talking about Kripa Records, Sanujeet Bhujabal, Managing Director- India & South Asia, Universal Music Group, shared “Our partnership with Jaani has always been rooted in a shared passion for creating impactful music, and together, we’ve delivered some of the biggest hits under Desi Melodies. With Kripa Records, we’re embarking on a journey with Jaani and B Praak to redefine spiritual and devotional music through a fresh approach to visual storytelling. At Universal Music India, we believe in pushing boundaries, and this collaboration is a testament to our vision of offering diverse, meaningful, and emotionally resonant music to audiences everywhere.”

With Kripa Records, B Praak and Jaani embark on a heartfelt mission to touch lives and inspire devotion through music. This initiative is their way of giving back to the higher power that has blessed them, and it marks the beginning of a journey dedicated to spreading grace and spirituality through melodies.
