After having a wonderful journey in Bollywood, modeling, and anchoring, she got married but continued her passion for art. She received a warm welcome and lots of love from Australia where she hosted or was part of some major multicultural events in Australia including local council events, University events, the Unity Bollywood concert, Navratri Dandiya events with legendary singers, shows with Bollywood singers and actor on their Australian tours, and many more.
Roushika set up her GLITZ BLITZ event business and made her debut with a unique acting mega-hit talent quest show Bollywood Queen – where our Australian star Sanjeev Mehra (Buckingham Murders) and Bollwood’s famed director Neeraj Pathak (Apne, Pardes) were part of the judging panel. To promote local talents, she shared her expertise, directed a few music videos, and promoted many events under her company GLITZ BLITZ.
Today, she is a proud mother of 2 children and enjoying her motherhood. She places motherhood as the toughest and most responsible job in her life but will trade it with nothing else in the world. She states that it is hard but also something that you cannot afford to miss, one of life’s most wonderful joys. What touches her heart most is when her two sons call her the most beautiful girl in the world. As the children have grown up a bit, she has once again stepped back into her creative field of music, events, and films.
Being an Aquarian, she believes in natural beauty and is somewhat distant from the current trends of Photoshop, and artificial touch-ups. She believes that a smile comes from within and feelings will be visible in photographs or videos. This has been noted by her fans and photographers, who think that her magnificent eyes and smile do wonders.
Roushika has traveled around the globe for shows but she loves being in Australia and feels, the Australian people are wonderful warm people and Australia is the best country in the world. Her family was always her priority and her strength. Roushika thanks her well-wishers, fans, friends, supporters, and families for her past and as she moves towards her new ventures, she hopes that she will keep receiving that kindness and love from them in the future as well.
Happy New Year to all and all the best to the artists and people behind upcoming events.
