Consumers will pay more for fuel and LPG from tomorrow, with new regulated prices coming into effect across Fiji. The biggest increase is on diesel, which will rise by 20 to 22 cents a litre, depending on location. Petrol prices will increase by five to six cents a litre, while kerosene will go up by 10 to 11 cents a litre. For taxi operators, the next six months could provide much-needed breathing space as they work towards a fare structure, they say needs to reflect the realities of running a taxi business.
