Two people remain in critical condition at Nadi Hospital following a three-vehicle collision in Martintar, Nadi on the night of May 23, 2026. Police say a 21-year-old man from Nadi allegedly attempted to overtake a vehicle driven by a 28-year-old woman when his vehicle clipped the side of her car. A 39-year-old man has become Fiji’s latest road fatality victim following a motor vehicle accident in Sigatoka on Friday. The victim was allegedly driving towards Olosara when he lost control of his vehicle, causing it to cross into the opposite lane and collide with an oncoming vehicle. Both drivers were taken to Sigatoka Hospital for treatment, however the 39-year-old died several hours later.
