A 39-year-old teacher has been charged in connection with the alleged abduction of a Year 10 student in Taveuni. Police allege that the accused and the student had been communicating through a messaging platform regarding plans to be together. The exchanges were reportedly discovered by the teacher’s wife, who alerted the school principal.
