The alleged bribery trial of senior police officer George Lagi has been adjourned after the defence sought more time to call a witness who is currently overseas.Lagi appeared before Magistrate Shageeth Somaratne in the Suva Magistrates Court this morning.Defence lawyer Joji Cakau also informed the court that Lagi’s mother passed away last week.
