The Role of Storytelling across Creative Projects and Sustainability across Creative Practices

Fabrics of Multicultural Australia (FOMA), supported by In-Country partner the Fiji Consulate General and Trade Commission, is a platform that fosters sustainable economic growth in our creative industries sector for cross & intercultural fashion styles.
FOMA has partnered with 23 foreign governments and trade agencies, featured 55 designer brands from 6 continents and 36 countries, emphasizing the importance of diversity in fashion and culture across our trade relations.
The annual FOMA Creative Industries Roundtable, hosted by Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade NSW, convenes diverse fashion industry leaders to drive sustainable impactful change in the fashion industry while fostering cross-cultural dialogue and storytelling of brand, through the lens of cross and intercultural fashion. The Roundtable was held in the presence of Crispin Conroy, Director DFAT NSW, Juan Jose Barboza Cabrera, Consul General of Uruguay, Daniel Stow, Fiji Trade Commissioner and was kindly facilitated by FOMA Alumni & Designer, Eliana Gamboa founder of MY PALOMA and FOMA Founder, Sonia Sadiq Gandhi.
