The NSW Police Force and Cumberland City Council will launch a new crime prevention strategy on Tuesday 9 December 2025, aimed at providing more support for multi-cultural communities in Sydney’s South West. I am deeply concerned by reports of an assault on an Indian-Australian man at Westfield Parramatta, including allegations the attack was racially motivated. No one in our state should ever be targeted or intimidated because of their background or identity.
