In December 2014, the draft resolution introduced by India in the United Nations General Assembly and co-sponsored by 177 member states of the UN was adopted to declare June 21 as the International Day of Yoga. Since then two editions of International Day of Yoga have been celebrated across the globe. This is a day to celebrate Yoga, India’s invaluable gift to the world and humanity.
With a view to spread awareness regarding the benefits of practicing Yoga to one and all, the 3rd International Day of Yoga will be celebrated by the Consulate General of India, Sydney in association with various organisations in the following dates and venues in New South Wales and South Australia:

A 45 minutes Yoga masterclass, based on Yoga protocol prepared by Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India specially for the event will be conducted during the events.
