SydWest’s Aged Care & Disability Services

Community members, service providers and government agencies are invited to a special event in Rouse Hill with Minister Ray Williams MP, NSW Minister for Multiculturalism and Disability Services. The SydWest Multicultural Services event is being held on Wednesday 25th October 2017 from 10 am in the Rex Money Room, Vinegar Hill Memorial Community Centre, Civic Way, Rouse Hill Town Centre.

This event is to invite local community representatives to meet SydWest Multicultural Services staff, learn more about our Aged Care and Disability Support services and how we can work to support greater culturally competent service delivery within the community
services sector. It is a great opportunity to hear from the Minister, as well as SydWest clients from their Aged Care and Disability Services, who will share their experiences. It is also an opportunity to network with key stakeholders and to develop collaborative relationships for the future.

Mr Williams encouraged all members of the community in Western Sydney to attend the event. “There are so many outstanding services and avenues of support available in the aged care and disability sectors for our community in Western Sydney,” Mr Williams said. “Western Sydney is one of the most multicultural regions in the country and as our community ages, almost all of us will be touched in some way by an aged care and disability services. “Irrespective of cultural and linguistic backgrounds, the NSW Government is committed to ensuring all members of our community have the same access to vital services.”
