Swara Bhaskar will be seen next in Veere di wedding in one of the leading roles. Swara’s Quote,’I always believe that as an artist one cannot be insular to the social realities of the world we inhabit. Being a public figure, one needs to be more aware and responsible towards the problems and issues prevalent in the society. I firmly believe that ‘silence is complicity’ – you stay silent and allow things to happen to you, you become complicit. As a society, we have to break our silence. Communalism and communal politics are one of the the most dangerous and poisonous issues in India. It led to India’s partition in 1947. It can destroy our social fabric. I feel every patriotic Indian must stand against communalism and espouse secular values.’
