PM’s Visit To New Zealand Ends On A High

The official State visit of Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama ended yesterday on a high. And what better way than with a game of rugby. Bainimarama last night closed the Auckland Fijian Community 7s. The one-day 7s tournament was held at Tangaroa College and brought together the Fijian diaspora in New Zealand with teams from all over New Zealand.

fiji-nzPrime Minister Bainimarama thanked the organisers for using sports as a vehicle to unite the Fijian diaspora. He has also earlier visited the Auckland War Memorial to pay his respects. The Prime Minister will arrive back in the country tomorrow.
