Prime Minister Frank Bainimarama this morning visited the burnt dormitory site at Ratu Kadavulevu School.

Upon arrival, the head of government was briefed by the RKS principal Pio Veivoli and the Commissioner Central, Josefa Navuku.

PM Bainimarama has instructed senior Education officials present at the site to work closely with his office and other relevant authorities and ensure that the needs of the students are quickly met.

During the visit, PM Bainimarama was also able to secure mattresses and beddings through the assistance from the Office of the Commissioner Central.

The teachers and the RKS family have also been reassured of government’s assistance in meeting the needs of the 158 students that were affected during the recent fire last week.
