Its a million smiles for about 300 people in Wainidinu Settlement after the commissioning of their new access road.

The project for the community access road was originally started by the members of the Wainidinu Settlement before they requested government’s assistance in 2015.

While sharing a brief background of the settlement, Settlement Headman Mr. Apakuki Tabuakoro says that they have been trying to find a way to develop their access road for a long time.

Mr Tabuakoro and his family came into Wainidinu when he was just about 4 years old and said that they usually walk amongst the mangrove swamps to get to the main road. “It was a real struggle and we never imagined that one day we would have this access road” said Mr Tabuakoro.
