MINISTER VUNIWAQA OFFICIATES AT THE HANDOVER OF PHYSIO NET UK CONSIGNMENT

In many low-income and middle-income countries, only 5-15 per cent of people who require assistive devices and technologies have access to them.

This was highlighted by the Minister for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation Hon. Mereseini Vuniwaqa while speaking at the handover of the fifteenth consignment by Physio Net to the Spinal Injury Association today.

“Access to assistive devices is essential for many people living with disabilities and is an important part of any development strategy,” Minister Vuniwaqa said.
