MINISTER BALA URGES SUPPORT FOR PROJECT

Minister for Employment, Youth and Sports, Parveen Bala, has urged to donate towards the project for the building and the installment of a gas fired cremation at Raralevu in Nausori.

Minister Bala highlighted this during the ground breaking ceremony for the building this morning.

The project will cost from $600,000 to $800,000 and he highlighted that the Raralevu community is one of the first communities to help Government with its climate change initiatives.

Also at the ceremony were the Minister for Lands and Mineral Resources, Ashneel Sudhakar, Assistant Minister for Infrastructure, Transport, Disaster Management and Meteorological Services, Vijay Nath and Parliament Member Vijendra Prakash.
