Launch party of a stage production organised by ChinmayaYuva Kendra (CHYK) Sydney and Chinmaya Mission Australia.

We live in a world today where a lot of unfortunate, and bizarre things happen all the time and we often do not know how to handle it. We know that we cannot control the environment around us, so what can we do to manage our reactions and emotions? What are the tools we can employ to manage everyday stressors, and just get on with life to be happy? How do vulnerable young people stay rational? Can you stay tuned all the time?

At ChinmayaYuva Kendra (CHYK) Sydney, the Youth wing of Chinmaya Mission Australia, our motto is to “Enhance Youth Potential through dynamic Spirituality”. Through our weekly discussion groups, our annual camps and other various activities we spread the message of Vedanta to better equip the young people (not restricted to any religion, all are welcome) in Sydney to become dynamic, happy and successful. They gain the tools and strategies to strengthen their minds, understand themselves better and be empowered to conquer the world, and all the problems it throws at them.

On the 25th of February, the CHYKs of Sydney came together to officially launch their stage production for 2018; “Stay Tuned”. Stay Tuned promises to be a comedic play with drama and dance that shares a message of inspiration and empowerment, urging its audience to understand themselves better and learn to enjoy their lives. It follows the story of the Anand family; your “not-so-typical family” as they discover themselves, realise their purpose and overcome their struggles to become free and happy.

In July 2017, Stay Tuned was the brain child of a group of driven CHYKs inspired to give back to the community and share their PujyaGurudev; Swami Chinmayananda’s vision and mission with the youth of Sydney. Today, with over 100 members in the cast, crew and support members of the show, it has grown into a mammoth stage production supported by the entire Chinmaya Mission Australia family.

We invite each one of you, along with your families to buy a ticket and come along to watch the show on Saturday, the 5th of May 2018. We also have the honour of having the Global Head of Chinmaya Mission; Pujya Swami Swaroopanandaji blessing this production, as he will be a part of our audience on the day.

All profits raised from this production will go towards two wonderful charitable organisations in India; the Chinmaya Organisation for Rural Development (CORD – ) and the Chinmaya Education Cell ( ) . These organisations work to empower and educate rural communities, underprivileged children and young people. Every ticket that you buy will help us spread the message we wish to the young people of Sydney, and support two amazing charities that changes people’s lives every day.

With only one show in Sydney, do not miss this opportunity! Come and find out how to STAY TUNED; with yourself and with the world around you. Tickets can be found on
