A story embodying this season’s mantra ‘Music se Badhenge hum’ is that of 15-year-old Ritik who hails from a small village near Ghazipur. He started singing when he was a toddler. Having discovered his unique talent at a very young age, Ritik and his family shifted to Delhi when he was quite young, so that he could study and get the best musical training. Due to personal reasons, his family had to return to their hometown, leaving their kid alone in Delhi where he now stays on rent. Hardworking as he is, Ritik not only wakes up at 5:30 AM for his Riyaz, but also goes for music classes and attends school, while looking after his entire household single-handedly. To sustain himself, Ritik uses the money he earns from his performances at various jagratas to pay for his daily expenses, house rent and music training.

All three judges showered this little superstar for his performance but also applauded him for his resilience, hard-work and dedication.
