“I do not accept a world that tells my daughters that economic equality can wait for their granddaughter’s granddaughters.”
This succinct message was delivered by the Minister for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation, Hon. Mereseini Vuniwaqa, to key stakeholders at the launch of the Catalyzing Women’s Entrepreneurship Fiji project at the Grand Pacific Hotel today.
The project is supported by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) with finance provided by the Canadian Government and the Fijian Ministry of Women has engaged Women in Business Fiji as its local partner.
Catalyzing Women’s Entrepreneurship is a new regional initiative to galvanize support for scaling up investments towards closing the gender gaps in economic participation and unleashing women’s creative potential.
