Christmas spirit to light up Parramatta

WHAT: Parramatta’s annual Christmas celebrations will light up Centenary Square with a range of activities, family-friendly entertainment and fireworks.

WHEN: Today, Thursday 30 November from 4pm to 9pm

WHERE: Centenary Square, Parramatta
MORE INFORMATION:  The main stage will be hosted by Nay Nay from ABC Kids and feature performances and ‘meet and greet’ with characters from the popular animated TV series PJ MasksJMA entertainment, local school choirs and community groups.

New to the 2017 event will be a Carols by Candlelight concert, virtual reality sleigh ride and the lighting of Western Sydney’s largest Christmas tree with interactive lighting elements which will give people the opportunity to light up the tree in the colours and designs of their choice. 

Highlights include:

  • Meet and greets with PJ Masks and Santa
  • Carols by Candlelight Concert
  • The lighting of the giant Christmas tree, followed by a spectacular fireworks finale
  • Food vendors including popular eateries Pimp My Donut and Fluffy Crunch
  • Markets stalls showcasing great Christmas gifts
  • Virtual Reality Sleigh Ride
