Cricket Australia has advised that Dr Bob Every AO has made the decision to resign from his position on the Board, after serving almost three years. Cricket Australia Chairman David Peever has thanked Dr Every for his service on the national cricket Board.
“Bob has served on the CA Board for more than two and a half years and has made a valuable contribution over that time. “Bob served on the MOU sub-committee for the most recent negotiations with the Australian Cricketers’ Association, CA’s Audit and Risk Committee and was an active contributor to Board discussions.
“On behalf of Cricket Australia and Australian cricket, I thank him for his service and wish him well for the future,” said Mr Peever.
Dr Every’s three-year term was due to finish in October this year. The Nominations process for Directors whose term finishes in 2018, has commenced, with appointments expected to be formalised at the next Annual General Meeting later this year.
