ARIA-charting local artists Missy Lancaster and Alfie Arcuri will star in the 2018 Carols in the Garden at the Australian Botanic Garden Mount Annan on Saturday 15 December 2018.
A highlight of the south-west’s festive calendar, Carols in the Garden is a Macarthur favourite and showcases the best of local talent. Missy Lancaster, a country artist originally from Picton who now splits her time between Sydney and Nashville, and Alfie Arcuri, winner of the fifth season of The Voice, will headline the live concert.
Classic and modern Christmas favourites will also be performed by Mount Carmel Samoan Community Choir, C4 Choir, Sarah & Emmalisa Engelbrecht, a 19 piece orchestra, and Elise McCann, who is best known for her recent role as Miss Honey in the stage show Matilda.
Families are encouraged to bring a blanket and settle in on the Lakeside Lawn from 5.00 pm.
Pre-show entertainment including Garden mascot Buttercup, plus a great variety of food stalls, start from 5.00 pm with the Carols in the Garden kicking off at 7.00 pm. Event sponsors the Campbelltown Catholic Club will be selling candles and glow products as the sun goes down with the money going to the Dilly Drought Drive. Campbelltown Catholic Club General Manager Michael Lavorato says, “We are proud to be supporting the
longest-running and most loved Christmas Concert in the region, and in the spirit of the season it will be fantastic to raise funds for local farmers through the Dilly Drought Drive.”
